Eligibility

"Once a Member, Always a Member"

Membership in Firestone Federal Credit Union is extended to most employees of Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. who are not represented by a bargaining unit and who are on the Akron, Brook Park, or Nashville payrolls.

Members of your immediate family may join the credit union. Those eligible for membership: spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren. Step relationships of the above are eligible. As members, you and your family may share in all of the services and benefits provided by our credit union. You may save and borrow at rates that are competitive and generally better than those available elsewhere

How to Join

Call the credit union to obtain a new membership packet. Mail the completed new member information to the credit union, along with a deposit of $5 or more. All members must have a social security number to apply for an account.


Select Employee Group

What is a SEG?

A Select Employee Group (SEG) is a company that offers credit union membership as a benefit to employees and their families.

Benefits for SEG employees include:

  • Access to great FFCU loan rates keeps more money in employees’ pockets.
  • FFCU offers direct deposit, e-statements, bank transfers and direct loan payments making membership for employees convenient.
  • Once an employee is a member of FFCU, their membership follows them the rest of their lives, regardless of employment status.

CU MEMBERS MORTGAGE

We have been partnering with CU Members Mortgage since 2002. They are available to assist our members that live outside the states of Ohio and Tennessee with their mortgage needs. Learn more.
